Kiwi Public Relations was formed in 2006 as a result of the demand for our services within our community in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand.
Helen Denny, MA, BSc (née Sissons)
Helen is a Director, writer and journalist of 15 years standing. She worked five years as a reporter with newspapers in Britain and the United States before moving to the BBC where she spent 10 years reporting for television and radio news. From 1996 she combined her BBC job with a lectureship in News Journalism at the University of Leeds. Since moving to New Zealand at the end of 2002 she has written a textbook on journalism for Sage Publishing. It will be published in October 2006. CV
Paul Denny, MSc, BSc
Paul is a Director and new media specialist. He has spent over 15 years in information systems design, starting as a software engineer in navigation for Norcontrol, then Schlumberger, chief programmer and Group DBA at the UK Press Association where he worked for five years, then as a senior consultant for informix (IBM), a world leader in database and web infrastructure technologies. Most recently he was a senior manager at a telecommunications company, Energis (C&W), responsible for building teams of engineers for the development of the ISP's Managed Service Provision. CV
